The president of UFC Dana White follows in the footstep of his long-time colleague and friend Joe Rogan as he tries his hand at stand-up comedy. As surprising as it sounds, it is true, as seen in a viral reel that recently emerged on Instagram. Perhaps comedy and White were a combination we weren’t prepared for. Although, by the looks of it, it went very well.

He appeared in an event by Laugh factory in LA, back in 2016. Although unnatural, he was not the only one from the UFC to appear on stage that night. To everyone’s surprise, former welterweight champion Matt Serra along with multiple division fighter Din Thomas was also present in the club.
Although his dear friend and fellow comedian, Joe Rogan, was nowhere to be found. Having the American stand-up comedian would have certainly helped ease some nerves for White.
Dan White: A comedian well received
Los Angeles is famous for its comedy. White while shooting the episode of “Looki’n for a Fight” went to the legendary comedy store Laugh Factory. Moreover, he performed in front of a packed theater including over 280 fans, as seen in the post.

The legendary comedy store opened back in 1979, and since then it has hosted some of the absolute legends of comedy. Including the late Robin Williams, Sam Kinison, Richard Pryor, and George Carlin, to name a few.
White opened by saying, “Everybody who laughs gets tickets to UFC 200“. And then went on to drop an absolute bomb by saying, “Early stoppage is my s*x life.” While also claiming that his s*x life was like 2 wrestlers fighting, where he grinds until everybody loses their interest.
Furthermore, he admitted to being quite nervous before his performance while in conversation with his friend/actress Laura Prepon. Although the stint went quite smoothly and was well received.

The UFC president was so stressed before the event that he ended up asking Joe Rogan’s right-hand man, Tony Hinchliffe, to write his set for him. Hinchcliffe is one of the most famous joke writers in Hollywood, he also does stuff for Comedy Central as well as helps out Joe Rogan.
Hinchcliffe guided him on what to say and how to deliver it. Moreover, after handing out the script to White, he claimed that he and his buddy Rich wrote this script. It was specially custom-made for him.
