Khabib Nurmagomedov purchased Gorilla Fighting Championship and named it after his moniker. Eagle FC has aimed at giving aspiring fighters a platform and Nurmagomedov’s extensive fan base has helped his venture and its fighters garner a lot of attention. This has helped its expansion and Eagle FC will have its first American event later tonight at the FLX Arena in Miami, Florida.

Ahead of the event, ‘The Eagle‘ appeared at a press conference and issued a stern warning to other MMA promotions regarding fighter treatment.

He said, “Big organizations like UFC, Bellator, they have to be careful with their fighters, you know. Because Eagle FC is here. And of course, we’re trying to sign good athletes, great athletes with good names, you know.”

“At the same time, we’re working with the young generation too, you know. We have two goals. I just want to say be careful, you know. If they don’t treat good fighters, Eagle FC is here.”

‘The Eagle’ has already signed some notable names like Rashad Evans and Kevin Lee. However, he plans to sign some more fighters in the future. Recently, Nurmagomedov sent an offer to one of the biggest names in boxing.

Ever since his transition to boxing, ‘The Problem Child’ has been expressing his interest in competing inside the UFC cage. However, UFC kingpin Dana White has fulfilled none of his demands.

Hence, the former lightweight champion chimed in and offered the 25-year-old a contract in his promotion. He tweeted, “the doors of @EagleFightClub always open for you and your team.”

‘The Problem Child’ was quick to acknowledge Nurmagomedov’s tweet. However, he put forward a bizarre condition to make the deal. In response, Paul wrote, “deal. only if I fight you first.”

The Dagestan native, who has retired from the sport completely with an undefeated record, has shown no interest in breaking his promise to his mother and returning to fight. Hence, this deal might never come to fruition.
