‘El Diamanté‘ had an interaction with a fan who tried to mock him for championship losses. Besides, they mentioned McGregor’s bouts as the main source of Poirier’s finances.

“Won my family financial freedom,” wrote Poirier.
Poirier frequently interacts with his fans chiefly with the haters more than the ones who support him. In an interview with MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani, the top MMA journalist brought this to Poirier’s attention.

Then again, Poirier has also expressed locking horns with Nate Diaz. And the Stockton native is eagerly waiting for his final contractual bout with UFC. Even the UFC President, Dana White, showed interest in booking the bout between these two Conor McGregor foes. Yet, there’s no lead on what’s the holdup to this bout.
Some UFC analysts and media members believe the UFC wouldn’t blink an eye to book this matchup only if Diaz re-signs with the promotion. But giving him a favorable matchup on his exit would give him more leverage when it comes to the negotiations.
