UFC lightweight superstar Dustin Poirier recently spoke with MMA News’ Curtis Calhoun in a candid interview. The conversation began when Calhoun posed a question in front of him. The doubt significantly revolved around Poirier’s pick considering the potential winner for the UFC 292 headliner. Addressing the doubt, Poirier had quite a prolonged statement, but he could eventually reveal his pick.

He said, “I think if Aljo is going to get his hands on Sean, I do think he is going to dominate him there. But you know Sean’s long has great timing has awkward striking. So we will see. I think, obviously, we all think the same thing: Aljo is going to try to take him down. Try to get his hands around his body, try to body lock him.”

However, he didn’t stop there since he had something else to say regarding sterling. “Um, Sean is gonna try to stand in outside. Use his length and speed and timing to pick apart Aljo.So whoever accomplishes the game plan, I think that is who’s gonna win. But I am leaning for sure, I am leaning towards Aljo.”

Poirier’s thoughts were apparently inclined towards ‘The Funk Master’. He did, however, also mentioned how O’Malley could restrict the deeds of the champion from taking place. Surely, winning the bout would be paramount for O’Malley. But did you know? O’Malley recently revealed his further plans after he beats Sterling and gets his hands on the title.

O’Malley shed light on his aspirations to face who?

‘Sugar’ recently shared his aspirations to fight the guy who handed him his first loss back in 2021. It was Marlon Vera who knocked O’Malley out as he stood tall, eventually leaving him agonized.
