Among them, former UFC middleweight champion, Michael Bisping also made his opinion known.

It bears mention that the two share a history of going at each other, and some commonalities too. Both of them hail from the world of combat, but dabbled their hands in acting. Michael Bisping made it a point to not diss McGregor, however, felt the need to mention it—why? Because back in 2022, when McGregor was preparing and shooting ‘Road House,’ he took a sly dig at the Englishman. Amongst other things, he called him a ‘sh*t actor.’

Needless to say, he was not very polite but Bisping did not want to diss ‘The Notorious’ one for his acting ability and get one up on him. At the same, while he said that, he did make a sly dig and threw shade by giving him some words of advice.

On his podcast, he stated, “The Road House trailer, all I’m gonna say is this, look, listen, it’s his first gig, and God bless him, good for him. I was out in Bulgaria in 2022 filming Red Sonia, my biggest part yet. I’m quite proud of it. It was a nice big chunky role, got a bit of range in there as well, you know? It’s a good part. McGregor, because he was on set as well, just started randomly insulting me on Twitter. ‘Oh, remember that show that you did? Yeah, me neither. Nobody else does, blah blah blah blah blah, and all the rest of it.'”

He added, “Anyway, if I was so petty, which I’m not, you know, I could see that trailer today and be like, ‘Don’t give up your day job, bro.’ But, you know, hey, God bless him, good for him. No doubt, going to be a big, big, big success.”

In any case, amongst different opinions, the movie is grabbing the attention of the public at large and some level of success is inevitable. However, one must wonder, how much would McGregor be making?

McGregor is one of the biggest sports stars on the planet. Despite his lack of experience in acting, it would be fair to say that he would be demanding big money—but how much? According to McGregor himself, he is the “highest-paid first-time actor of all time.”! However, the actual purse of the film actor is not disclosed yet and would most likely be subject to the success of the film.

That being said, as per several reports, there is an estimated value, and that is, $5 Million. Now, this amount of money is nothing to scoff at, especially given the fact that it was the first time ‘Mystic Mac’ was stepping into the world of Hollywood.
