UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping spoke to BT Sports’ Caroline Pearce following UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs Till. Derek Brunson picked up a rather comfortable third-round submission win over Darren Till by way of RNC. Till had his moments in the fight, however, he failed to sustain his success and was largely ineffective once the fight hit the canvas.

Darren Till is now 1-4 in his last five fights and he’s not looked the same since losing to Tyron Woodley. While he’s had some highlight-reelw moments in his fights since then, he hasn’t been able to convert them into wins. He will likely lose his number 7 ranking and drop down closer to the bowels of the top 10 in the division.

“Darren is obviously heartbroken. I know how much this means to him I know how much he put into this training camp. But it’s not over, yes, it’s a bump in the road. It holds the dreams for now, the title aspirations, forget about those for a little bit. He’s got to do some work.”

“Darren, keep your chin up mate. Listen, you got it. You got all the skills, you really do. You have all the potential to become a champion one day. Youth is on your side but you have to stay the course, you have to stay focused. Do not give up on yourself.”
