UFC CEO Dana White has removed all Peloton equipment from the UFC gyms. The move came after White was a guest on ‘This Past Weekend’ with comedian Theo Von. During the episode, Von revealed he was asked to take down an episode of his podcast with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. due to Peloton being a sponsor of his show. Von and Kennedy discussed the latter’s controversial conclusions surrounding vaccines.
White slammed the company for its practices and he was even vocal about his criticism of Peloton boss, Barry McCarthy. At the latest post-fight press conference after the UFC Fight Night event in Texas, White revealed his thoughts on how he approaches relationships with sponsors. And the UFC head honcho made some interesting comments on the issue!

In a recent statement, UFC CEO Dana White unveiled a fresh perspective on sponsorships, likening them to relationships. White emphasized a crucial mindset shift, viewing sponsorships as akin to being in a long-term alliance.
He revealed, ”I’ve got this new mindset. I look at sponsorships like relationships, like being in a relationship with somebody. If I gotta be in a relationship with somebody for six years, we better be aligned and we better think and feel the same way.”
White expressed a straightforward stance by stating, “Or, you do your thing, do whatever you do, but don’t ever f*cking call me and tell me what you want me to do because you sponsor us.”

In essence, he expects sponsors to refrain from making demands and interfering with the UFC’s operations. This mindset shift certainly reflects White’s commitment to fostering partnerships built on shared values and mutual respect. Recently, White also spoke about the claimed PPV numbers and his thoughts on influencer boxing events!

In the same discussion with Theo Von, Dana White shared how a major UFC sponsor attempted to censor him after he made a post in support of Donald Trump. White and Trump have been friends for years and this did not sit well with the UFC CEO.
“I posted a video for Trump on my personal social media. One of our big sponsors called and said, ‘Take that down.’ You know what I said? Go f*** yourself,” said White. He further said it was no one else’s business who he supports or votes for.
