A few months ago, middleweight prospect Bo Nickal claimed he was skilled enough to take on and “wreck” a chimpanzee. He recently shared a tweet, revealing what ChatGPT had to say about his chances against the wild animal, and guess what? Fans found it amusing as they shared some hilarious reactions, but not everyone had the same opinion on this matter.

Since his debut in the UFC, Bo Nickal has become one of the most promising up-and-coming threats in the middleweight division. The American Top Team starlet expects a lot from himself, which he made obvious after his win over Cody Brundage. He wanted to finish him earlier than he did. Meanwhile, Nickal also claims to be the best MMA wrestler ever, and that even chimpanzees could lose the upper hand against him.

“Given the chimpanzee’s strength (about 1.5 times that of an average male) and natural aggression, it still poses a significant threat. However, Bo Nickal’s extensive experience, skill, and strategic prowess in combat give him the edge in this hypothetical matchup,” the X post read.

Well, ChatGPT seems to believe that there is a chance that someone like Bo Nickal, who’s got more than two decades of experience in fighting, can beat a chimpanzee. However, it’s important to note that chimps are built to be stronger than an average human being and have extreme physical capabilities. Also, things can get even messier when their wild instincts kick in.

However, the AI believes that Bo Nickal’s skills would ultimately help the undefeated fighter to win. Besides, an average adult male weighs around 150 pounds, so maybe Nickal has a chance. But what do fans think about this unique matchup? Let’s see for ourselves.

Even if they’d love to see it, fans advice Bo Nickal not to fight chimps

If there’s one thing that fans love to do, it’s matchmaking, and one fan is very keen to see how Bo Nickal fares against a wild chimpanzee. Nickal wanted the likes of Khamzat Chimaev in the Octagon but fans seem entertained by the hypothetical contest against a chimp. “This fight needs to happen! It’s the only one that makes sense right now,”  jokingly read a comment. Meanwhile, another fan pondered the ruleset for this man vs. wild matchup. This comment read, “Are you fighting MMA rules, or can it bite you?”

Meanwhile, one fan highlighted the Chimpanzees’ relentlessness, and that could easily overpower Bo Nickal’s two decades of fighting experience. After all, chimpanzees aren’t the most approachable animals, especially because they have a naturally aggressive demeanor “Experience won’t help the fact that chimp will just get up like Derrick Lewis does from the bottom. Over and over,” an X user stated.

Some fans strongly urged Nickal to do some research before taking on a chimp. And guess what? He pointed him towards the Netflix documentary that Joe Rogan has mentioned on his podcast several times. “You watch chimp empire? the chimp would ragdoll you,” that fan added.

As one fan claimed, “The chimp would keep Bo’s Nickals as a trophy,” it became clear that it would be wise for Bo Nickal not to take on a chimpanzee. So, many people have already warned him with comments like, “That’s awesome. Don’t do it though.” On the other hand, there were a few skeptics about ChatGPT’s findings. “You mean you asked chat GPT to make you the favorite lol,” an X user added.
