Winning two titles in two different weight classes is a rare feat that Alex Pereira has achieved in his career. Despite his dominance, he still has his share of critics. Talking about critics, former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman shared his opinion on the Brazilian. Championship Rounds shared a video on the Instagram page where ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ pointed out why he didn’t rate the Brazilian high. He said, “I said you will put hands on the middleweights like you did. Light heavyweights like you are currently doing, and some heavyweights in the future.”

While the 37-year-old did credit ‘Poatan’ for his records, it seems he doesn’t quite like his fighting style. Usman further pointed out what makes a P4P fighter in the UFC. The 37-year-old said, “But when we talk about Pound 4 Pound Henry let’s not forget. P4P is a hypothetical. That means do you posses the highest level of striking, of wrestling, of kickboxing of grappling of Jiu-jitsu.”

The former champion then shared a message for the champion and said, “So don’t be upset about that. Don’t be b..t hurt about it. Go out there and take the next guy down to get on top full mount, switch up, arm bar on top. Then let me know. ” Usman is not critical of the champion, but even feels he is beatable inside the Octagon. But how can we negate the threat of ‘Poatan?’. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ has the answer for you.
