The former President of the United States, Donald Trump, is quite impressed with the UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan. Even though the 56-year-old podcaster isn’t the biggest fan of the ex-POTUS, he sure has immense respect for him. With the rising popularity of Rogan’s podcast, the entire world has often speculated that Trump would make an appearance on the JRE someday or the other. However, Rogan has been adamant about not inviting the former president. But things might just change this time.

On the 5th date of August 2024, Trump was interviewed by the controversial online streamer, Adin Ross. During the conversation, the duo played a game, where faces of various entities dropped in on the screen and Trump had to say what he felt about them in one word. Needless to say, one of the entities was Joe Rogan.

As soon as the UFC commentator’s face appeared before him, Trump revealed that he was indeed impressed with Rogan. He said, “Interesting. He really is. He’s an amazing guy. He’s a very interesting guy.”

Soon after Ross put the stream online, one user on Reddit snipped the part where the former US president talked about Rogan and shared it on the social media platform. The caption to the clip read, “Describe Joe Rogan in one word.” With Trump’s opinion about Rogan on the internet, the netizens struck the rumor of the ex-POTUS getting into the JRE once again.

As soon as the post hit the threshold of Reddit, the internet community took over the comments section and revealed their thoughts. But the most prominent among the comments was the netizens’ speculations of Rogan featuring Trump on his podcast. “He definitely wants to be on Rogan,” wrote one of the fans. Meanwhile, another fan added, “Sounds like Trump will be a guest soon.” Another fan pointed out that Rogan’s trajectory with the JRE was ever-changing and with the current scenarios, it might end up happening. “With the way Joe’s going, this feels like it could happen at some point,” wrote the fan.

Rogan has denied being a supporter of Trump on multiple occasions. During a conversation with Lex Friedman, back in 2022, the JRE host clarified that he had had numerous opportunities to have the ex-POTUS on his talk show. However, the famed UFC color commentator had no desire to help Trump. One of the fans weighed in on this and wrote, “Woah!!! That’s crazy he’s doing that, I had no idea. I heard rumors (might be confirmed but I’m gonna use the word rumor, just to be safe) that Trumps team asked to come on Rogan a couple of times, but Joe declined.

Judging by the way Trump talked about Rogan, some of the fans even claimed that “Trump has no idea who Rogan is.” On the other hand, a few of the netizens believed that Trump was right to believe Rogan is an interesting guy. “Well, he’s not wrong,” read the comment. But as the post spent more time on Reddit, it received some hilarious remarks from the netizens. One of the users wrote, “Bald would’ve also been an acceptable answer.” Meanwhile, another comment highlighted Rogan’s height. The comment read, “Short was the correct answer sir……. Short.”
