Is Dana White the savior boxing desperately needs, or just another promoter with empty promises?

After conquering t͏he MMA world, UF͏C CE͏O Dana Whit͏e might be setting his sig͏hts on a new target: boxin͏g. The “million-d͏oll͏a͏r͏ man” appears͏ t͏o view ͏boxing as͏ the next͏ big o͏pportunity after hi͏s ͏suc͏ces͏s in M͏MA. White ͏has a l͏ong-sta͏nding history with boxing; before beginning his jour͏ney as a businessman,͏ ͏h͏e was a boxing practitioner. His promotion rose to promi͏ne͏nce at a time when boxing was still at its peak. However,͏ over ͏time͏, the sport ͏ha͏s decline͏d ͏and is now in need of a significant revival. The UFC CEO might revolutionize the realm of boxing and Joe Rogan for sure believes in it.

“I have a plan. I’m going to implement that plan and we’ll see how it works. We’ll see how this thing works. People have been talking about the demise of boxing for 30 years and we’re still here talking about boxing right now, ” said Dana White as he talked about his debut in boxing. The UFC CEO further emphasized that he would announce his plans at the start of next year. This statement by the UFC CEO has increased the hopes of both Joe Rogan as well as his dear friend, Donald Trump. “If Dana is involved, he’ll probably make it good,” Trump said on JRE.

While having a conversation with Donald Trump on ‘JRE #2219,’ the multi-million dollar podcaster emphasized that he is bullish on the fact that Dana White would completely change the realm of boxing for good, “Dana is working with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They’re going to start promoting boxing now, and with Dana at the helm, I think boxing can return. The thing is, they want to make fights that other promoters maybe don’t want to make because they want to protect their fighter.”

He further added, “Controversial fights where it’s dangerous, like you don’t know if this guy could lose. The Saudis are smart; they just offer a tremendous amount of money and are putting together fights that no one else can organize. They’re doing that in boxing.”  The sport of boxing has been corrupted from time to time specifically due to the fact that the star boxers have been accused of cherry-picking their opponents to make sure that they have the perfect record. According to Joe Rogan, Dana White might have the power and necessary resources to change this thing forever.

Listening to Joe Rogan’s thoughts, Donald Trump emphasized his utmost trust in his friend, Dana White, believing that he will improve and positively transform the sport. There was once a time when Donald Trump started a rant in front of the UFC CEO over boxing becoming pretty slow and boring for him. Interestingly, Joe Rogan, and Trump are not the only huge personalities, who are excited by Dana White’s confession about boxing.

Mike Tyson is immensely happy about Dana White’s involvement in boxing

When Dana ͏White annou͏nced his entry͏ into͏ the ͏wo͏rl͏d of͏ boxing, no one was ͏more exc͏ited tha͏n le͏genda͏ry boxer Mike͏ Tyson. In a conversation with the media, the f͏ormer heavyweight cha͏mpi͏on ͏emphasize͏d that White’s invo͏lvem͏ent would be one͏ of the best things to happen to͏ the sport in recent times. “That’s going to be the best thing to happen to boxing, just like UFC,”  said Mike Tyson in a conversation with the media.

Is Dana White the savior boxing desperately needs, or just another promoter with empty promises?

Have an interesting take?

He further added, “If you’re in UFC, and if anybody’s booing the fight, you’re not going to see that guy. His next fight is going to be in South Dakota somewhere. Only good fights. If you don’t have a good fight, you ain’t never going to see that guy again. Not like boxing, ‘This guy’s going to fight next month again? We don’t want to see that.’ … if any fights stink, you’re not back in the UFC no more, you’re never going to see those guys again.”

Well, this is not the first time that the UFC CEO decided to enter into the sport. Regardless, Dana White appears to be serious about making it big in the realm of boxing, and with the help of Saudi Arabia as well as Truki Alashikh, the UFC CEO might score big this time.
