The whole world stood still after the news of Donald Trump getting shot spread across the news. Trump was addressing a rally in Pennsylvania when the incident took place. Luckily, the 78-year-old managed to escape the attack with an injury to his right year. However, the former POTUS seemed unfazed by the attack and was heard chanting “fight” towards the spectators. The incident caught the attention of many, including former dual champion Conor McGregor. The 36-year-old took to his X account to share a message for the former POTUS. His tweet was re-shared on Instagram, which has now received a reaction from UFC CEO Dana White.

Many UFC fighters, including the CEO, are big admirers of Donald Trump and the relationship is mutual. Trump has made many appearances at multiple UFC events over the past years while he also played a role in helping White establish and expand the promotion. His most recent appearance came at UFC 302, where he even met the likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov. Following the assassination attempt on the ex-POTUS, Conor McGregor was one of the first fighters to share a message.

He tweeted, “A 78 year old multiple billionaire he should be on a yacht on the med touring golf courses. But he is not. He is in Pennsylvania spitting out bullets! Running for the love of his country! God speed Donald! God bless the United States.” McGregor’s tweet was shared on Instagram by Full Violence and it received a reaction from Dana White. The UFC CEO shared two fist-bump emojis on the post, showing his agreement with the facts stated by ‘Mystic Mac’.
