The UFC finally made a stop in Miami after a long wait. Studded with stars such as Jorge Masvidal, Alex Pereira, and Israel Adesanya, UFC 287 at the Kaseya Center in Miami offered the city a night of thrilling fight card matchups. While notable personalities graced the arena and witnessed the action up close, one significant man’s appearance on Saturday night puzzled the fans. The visuals of ex-POTUS Donald Trump making his way to the seats made rounds on the internet despite him facing indictment charges this week.

Notably, the famed American business tycoon, Donald Trump, is good friends with UFC president Dana White. Also, he shares a good dynamic with the welterweight fighter Jorge Masvidal. Previously, the former POTUS had attended the proceedings at UFC 244, sitting close to the UFC head honcho.

In addition, the UFC lynchpin also took to his social media handle as he posted an update about UFC 287, along with his dear friend. The 53-year-old informed the fans that Trump joined him for the event and also mentioned UFC 287 was sold out. Later on, the two took a seat beside the cage where UFC star Kevin Holland made his case before them.

The fans expressed their shock at the startling appearance given the former POTUS’ recent turn of events in Manhattan court this Tuesday afternoon.

Markedly, Donald Trump faced indictment after a grand jury voted last Thursday on a slew of charges. Therefore, he created history on Tuesday afternoon after his arrest- the first president ever indicated and arrested. However, the 76-year-old pleaded not guilty to 34 felony charges in the Manhattan court.

Masvidal’s vocal support for Donald Trump

Masvidal told MMA Junkie how people tried to discard all the good work Trump had done for his community. Thus, he said, “They’re using now that to wipe away all the good [Donald Trump] has actually done for my community. The lowest unemployment for Latin and Black people. That gives us dignity.”

Following this, he argued people worked and made more money and that afforded his community dignity. He summed up, “He’s actually helping out my people. And I’m supposed to not give credit for that?”
