What happens when two controversial figures like Trump and Rogan finally sit down together?

Donald Trump’s media tour seems far from over, and it looks like Joe Rogan’s podcast may be his next stop! With high-profile political guests like Bernie Sanders, Dan Crenshaw, and Wesley Hunt having already sat across from Rogan at the JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) table, Trump’s appearance doesn’t seem far-fetched. However, in the past, the host of the JRE has stated, “I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once, I’ve said no every time.”

So, could things have changed between the pair? The potential tension between Trump and Rogan could make this meeting even more fascinating as the former POTUS had previously questioned if Rogan would be booed the next time he enters the UFC arena after his praise of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. But now, it appears that the situation has changed and the meeting of these two larger than life personalities might become a reality!

In a clip from Donald Trump’s conversation with Kyle Forgeard from the NELK Boys shared on Reddit, the former president was asked if he had any plans to make a stop at the JRE studio anytime soon. The former president has recently been seen making waves with his appearance on Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’, Theo Von’s ‘This Past Weekend’, and the Lex Fridman podcast.

As such, Trump confessed, “Oh sure! I would. I mean, I think I’m doing it…”. Seemingly taken aback, Forgeard then asked, “So you are going to do Joe Rogan?” and Trump responded by affirming, “Yeah, I am.”

Forgeard, clearly excited, pushed the idea forward, praising Rogan as “the best in the game.” He’s not wrong as the JRE consistently ranks amongst the top podcasts in the US on Spotify. But Trump wasn’t done there as he further questioned,Did Joe become so well-known because of the UFC? And he does a great job with that, right? What was it that made Joe the best?”

The response by Forgeard was interesting as he revealed that for him, Rogan’s show gained the spotlight during the time of the COVID pandemic and stated, “I think that’s personally when I started watching him a lot, too. He’s an honest guy too, right?” The former president’s response? He proclaimed, “He is. Good guy… He’s got a good voice, that’s important.”

Rogan has a pressing question for the former POTUS

Donald Trump has long been a figure of fascination on Joe Rogan’s podcast, with many fans clamoring for his appearance. With the growing trend of political figures gracing popular podcasts, if Trump were to join Rogan for a chat, one thing is for sure: it would draw millions of viewers. But what would be the topics of discussion between them?

During the JRE episode no. 2210 with Calley and Casey Means, the conversation shifted toward politics and healthcare. And Rogan confessed, that if he ever gets the chance to interview Trump, his top question would be, “If I talk to him, my number one question would be what happens when you get in there? Like what is that experience like?”

Rogan’s curiosity extended to the experience of stepping into the White House and the inner workings of the presidency as he further stated, “Because no one really knows until you’re in office. They don’t tell you how it’s going to go down if you don’t make it, you know. They don’t reveal all that like, so what is that experience like and how can you prepare for it without actually being elected president?”

These aren’t light questions. Rogan seems intrigued by the mystery of what it’s like to be president—a role filled with unimaginable challenges and constant scrutiny. So, if Trump does end up on the JRE, what can we expect? Will Rogan poke into the mind of the former president, unraveling what it’s like to hold the highest office in the land? Or will Trump’s larger-than-life persona dominate the conversation, leaving us with more questions than answers? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
