Former 2-time bantamweight champion, Dominick ‘The Dominator’ Cruz, is back to his winning ways. The conclusion of UFC 269 may have produced shocking upsets and incredible knockouts, but for Cruz, it was his time to shine bright like the star that he is.
Cruz managed to put on an incredible performance and even fought through two scary knockdowns in the first round.
At UFC 269, the world once again got to witness the vintage version of the former bantamweight champ. His victory over Pedro Munhoz has put him in a great position to make a title run once again.

Dominick Cruz doesn’t want to think about the future just yet
In a post-fight interview with analyst Megan Olivii, he shared his thoughts about his win and what’s next for him. He clarified that he isn’t going to target anyone. and is more focused on living in the moment.

Like, I’m here and that’s the thing about winning the belt and losing the belt twice. You learn to be present. So I am happy to be here on this win and I am gonna enjoy it.”Dom just might be ready for yet another run for the world title as his recent performance propels his name in the division. Definitely, UFC will once again try to build him up again. This could be his last push for the title before calling it a career and fans would indeed love to see him in the title’s contention once again.
