Conor McGregor seems to have used social media to channel his frustrations over his UFC 303 withdrawal by aiming at Khabib Nurmagomedov. The MMA realm has been reeling since it was announced that ‘The Notorious’ was out of his bout against Michael Chandler. McGregor later revealed that he suffered from a broken toe that caused him to step away from the fight and he has been struggling to deal with the setback as he recently stated on social media, “I’d be lying if I told you I wasn’t in deep pain right now watching fight week take place. Deep mental pain.”

However, the injury seems to have brought up bad memories for McGregor as he lashed out at ‘The Eagle’ in a recent unfiltered post on social media. Nurmagomedov has found himself embroiled in a difficult situation due to the shocking events that unfolded in Dagestan. As such, ‘The Notorious’ didn’t hold anything back as he brought up their famous clash from UFC 229 and had a few choice words for his rival.

According to reports online, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s MMA gym in Makhachkala was raided by Russian authorities as a part of the investigation into the recent te**or attacks in Dagestan. The authorities have revealed that a former MMA fighter, Gadzhimurad Kagirov, was one perpetrator of the incident and had links to The Eagle’s MMA school.

Nurmagomedov condemned the attacks and also denounced his association with Kagirov by stating, “[The te***rist] is not our student, that is absolute nonsense, it’s not true. Yes, he had a camp at the gym at some point, maybe for a couple of months. But he was never part of the team.”

However, Conor McGregor took the opportunity to aim at Nurmagomedov as he stated in a post on X, “I fought this little b*tch made rat with a full broken foot. I should have postponed like I done this time. For what did I give this little cousin f**ker any advantage for. He sh*t himself on that bus and showed his true chicken heart. B*tch made spoilt brat. Now you are F**KED! When you die I celebrate!”

After their 2018 clash at UFC 229, which devolved into an all-out brawl after Nurmagomedov submitted the Irishman in the 4th round, McGregor claimed that three weeks before the fight, he had suffered a broken foot, which led to him being compromised inside the cage. However, this wasn’t the only tirade the Irish UFC star aimed at ‘The Eagle’ as he also alleged on another post on X that a video exists of Nurmagomedov engaging in violent activity in public “with a bat.”

McGregor isn’t holding back on social media against anyone

Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov were once close friends and training partners but their relationship took a turn when Lobov sued the Irishman over his $600 million worth ‘Proper 12’ whiskey deal. Lobov alleged that he was an important part of the creation of the product and claimed that he was entitled to a share of the money McGregor made from the sale of the brand.

Their relationship continued to fray when Lobov sued McGregor for defamation, which was eventually won by ‘The Notorious,’ but their legal struggle over the whiskey is still ongoing. As such, in a series of posts on X, McGregor fired shots at Lobov as he stated, “Born in Russia, in Ireland on benefits. You rat b**tard your country is at war and you are in Ireland hiding claiming benefits and SWEARING ON YOUR CHILD’S LIFE. Your day is coming mark my words.”

Conor McGregor’s recent social media tirades against Nurmagomedov and Lobov may be an indicator of a man grappling with physical and emotional turmoil during a complex time in his career. Whether these conflicts will escalate or find resolution remains uncertain, but the MMA sphere is left awaiting ‘The Notorious’s return to the Octagon!
