Last year, Conor McGregor announced that he would face Logan Paul in India in 2025. And something interesting happened yesterday. The Paul brothers just took a candid photo with the former UFC double-champ at Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony. Yes, you heard that right, Logan Paul, Jake Paul, and ‘Mystic Mac’ were seated together heading to Trump’s oath-taking ceremony. As per history, many might have expected a fiery war of words between these individuals but the opposite happened as they happily spent their time together. Of course, this was the presidential swearing-in ceremony so they obviously had to be on their best behavior, but it seems like Dillon Danis couldn’t believe his eyes.

The trio was in Washington, DC, for the ceremony, and as fate would have it, they were placed right beside each other in a bus en route to the event. The former dual-weight champion of the world sat beside Pam Stepnick, Jake and Logan Paul‘s mother. All of them even took multiple shots together. Conor and Logan, in particular, seemed to be having a good time, adding fuel to the speculation that they might give us that exhibition boxing match this year.

In all of this, Conor McGregor’s close aide, Dillon Danis took to his Instagram handle to add a story that just read, “Wow, just wow.” In addition to that, he added another story from the classic Godfather movie where Al Pacino was sitting alone at the dining table. Invoking the famous lines by Michael Corleone, “Don’t ever take sides with anyone against the family again.”, does Danis’ story suggest he was hurt at the sight of his friend and foe sharing a moment of camaraderie?

Dillon Danis might have been a bit salty, and who can blame the guy? After all, he stuck his neck out for Conor McGregor when the latter was arrested during the 2018 UFC 223 bus incident, by putting up $50,000 as bail money. Meanwhile, Danis’ beef with the Paul brothers is well documented. Maybe the BJJ black belt feels sidelined, and perhaps even betrayed? Well, Danis wasn’t the only person who reacted to McGregor’s and the Paul brothers’ candid moment together. A common enemy of the trio surfaced to throw shade at their appearance together at the inauguration.

Nate Diaz fumes at Conor McGregor, Jake Paul and Logan Paul

Some fans were confused, some MMA fighters… bamboozled, including Nate Diaz who seemed completely annoyed by the unexpected link-up. A former opponent of both Jake Paul and Conor McGregor, Diaz didn’t take long enough to notice the chumminess between McGregor and the Paul brothers, as videos and photos went viral. It appears that the younger Diaz brother is in no mood to entertain the likes of his former opponents.

In an X post reacting to the trio’s link up, Nate Diaz took a massive dig at the trio, “Sit where [you’re] told at the big Inauguration Day u f*kn dorks,” Diaz tweeted along with a video captioned ‘3 f*kn nerds’. As of now, neither of the Paul brothers nor Conor McGregor have replied back to the former UFC fighter.

Nate Diaz has a troubled past with Jake Paul as he was defeated by ‘The Problem Child’ in a pro-boxing bout back in 2023. Regardless, what is your take on Conor McGregor’s meet-up with the Paul brothers? State your thoughts in the comments below.
