Diego Sanchez’s career was going well when he was fighting and training with Jackson-Sink MMA, however, the day he joined hands with Joshua Fabia things started to go downhill. Back in 2019, Sanchez left Jackson-Wink MMA’s hand after 15 long years and took Fabia as his new coach. This decision by Sanchez was heavily criticized by the entire MMA community but at that time Sanchez didn’t know what kind of abomination was about to befall him.
After starting his new journey with Fabia, Sanchez understood that he had made a huge mistake choosing him as his partner, and in 2020, Sanchez retired from MMA altogether. We got a mum about his experience with Fabia for a good amount of time, However, the truth cannot be hidden for long.
Four years after his retirement from the industry, Sanchez has come forward to open up about his heart wrenching experience with Fabia. In a conversation on his Instagram handle, Sanchez confessed that taking a turn with Fabia was one of the biggest mistakes of his life and he made his life miserable. “I’m dealing with a very unstable, mentally unstable sociopathic, psychopath. That’s basically the best way I could put it. You are dealing with a Charlie Manson-like mind where he is so far gone that it makes him unstable and dangerous.” said Sanchez.

He further added, “The manipulation that was put on me was also that he is an ex-hitman, an ex-contract worker for a cartel. I have been dealing with this psychopath for 3-4 years. I paid him money to get out of my life because the situation was so volatile. This guy was completely psycho. He was participating in witchcraft. This man was incarnating some very powerful demons to do the work that he was doing to bring me against my lord and savior Jesus Christ. In a very vulnerable moment in my life, this man stepped in and basically destroyed me.”
Diego Sanchez admitted that he had to pay thousands of dollars to get away from him. Nonetheless, Joshua Fabia’s existence is a mystery that even Dana White came forward to despise.

Dana White was not keen when Sanchez chose Joshua Fabia as his coach
Unlike other MMA coaches, Joshua Fabia was more like an awareness coach. He has an institute in Albuquerque known as the School of Self-awareness. Their website claims that Fabia is an accomplished athlete, healer, and trainer who has helped military officials for their betterment. However, none of these claims has been verified. So there’s a time of doubt in it. When Diego Sanchez decided to leave his original training institute for Joshua Fabia, Dana White knew that his fighter was making a mistake.
In one of his conversations, the CEO claimed that Fabia was a ‘Creepy Weirdo. “One of the sad things that happens, not just in fighting but in sports, and I want you to quote me on this, are these creepy weirdos who come from God knows where and leech onto fighters or athletes. They never do any good for them… Somehow, this creep got into Diego’s life and has been controlling him,” said Dana White.
