Billy Quarantillo buys Gracie Tampa South
Aside from being a UFC fighter, Billy Quarantillo has much more on his plate now as he has started his entrepreneurial journey by purchasing the Gracie Tampa South gym from his friend and coach Matt Arroyo. It was a monumental decision for financial stability for the UFC fighters, as he has recently become a father for the second time. Talking to the media, Quarantillo emphasized, “I’d say the biggest surprise is the day-to-day. Now this happened. Now this happened. What’s up with this?! The taxes, the contracts, the liability forms, and the insurance. All that stuff.”
He further added, “I’m super blessed to be in this position, and it’s only the beginning. It’s the type of busy that I’ve always wanted. I’ve always wanted to be a gym owner. I always wanted to be a businessperson,” he added. “And, of course, I always wanted to be in the UFC. That’s my dream job.” Having two jobs is a difficult job, but it has all the thrill. Quarantillo’s fellow coaches, like Brandon Connor, said the new boss is having a great time with his new enterprise.
