‘Did She Mean This Literally’ – US Politician Tulsi Gabbard’s Remarks on Hillary Clinton at Joe Rogan Podcast Questioned by Ex-UFC Fighter

The Joe Rogan Experience podcast seems to set the headlines again. The over 2-decade veteran UFC commentator Joe Rogan hosted US politician Tulsi Gabbard in one of the latest episodes, where the duo discussed a plethora of political topics. During their conversation, one remark from the guest caught former UFC fighter & multi-promotion MMA champion, Ben Askren’s attention.

Rogan and Gabbard have sat down before on Spotify’s biggest podcast. In this episode (JRE #1880), Gabbard revealed why she left the Democratic party. In addition, the duo talked about various social issues going around in the United States.

Tulsi Gabbard’s comment about Hillary Clinton threw off Ben Askren

Former Democratic Gabbard made a lot of comments that caught million of listeners’ attention. Among them was ex-UFC fighter Ben Askren who shared a clip from the podcast and pointed out Gabbard’s comment about Hillary Clinton.

‘Funky‘ wrote, “Well is this a Freudian slip or did she mean this literally @tulsigabbard @joerogan”

Gabbard in the clip (played at 1.5x) said, “I think the democratic party leader, people like Hillary Clinton, people been in charge for very long time format this kind of culture of fear, like, ‘hey, if you go against us, you’re dead.'”

Askren who is quite active on his social media and is known & loved for his outspoken personality in the MMA space had a hard time digesting Gabbard’s words.

The former US Olympian, thus, tagged both Rogan and Gabbard for clarification on the subject. However, there has been no response from either Rogan or Gabbard on Askren’s post or publicly. That said, Askren’s followers in the post were not as quiet and had their say.

Apart from this conversation on the show, former Democrat also reflected on getting ‘harassed’ after the Women’s March in 2017 when the 45th President of the United States Donald Trump was elected.

The $200 million-worth Spotify podcast does not miss topics of any genre and political topics are no different. Either Rogan or his guests frequently bring up such discussions.

On the JRE episode,  #1869, Rogan and his physician guest, Dr. Mate talked about Clinton’s biography narrated by Morgan Freeman.

Dr. Mate had quite a take on the documentary. After hearing Dr. Mate’s comments about Clinton’s documentary, Rogan called Clinton an ‘extremely unlikable woman’.

Anyhow, for Askren’s concern, it would be interesting to know whether the ex-Olympian gets any response from either his UFC fellow Rogan or Gabbard herself.
