Joe Rogan‘s podcasting empire has grown so big that it’s almost unfathomable to see him drop down in the Spotify charts, or so we thought. The 57-year-old had seemingly slipped down in the rankings recently after former NFL star Jason Kelce‘s wife, Kylie Kelce, started her podcasting journey. However, Rogan wasn’t down for too long.

Kylie Kelce’s ‘Not Gonna Lie’ podcast started with a bang, as she found her way into the Spotify charts, just below Joe Rogan, before even dropping a single episode. But after she dropped her first episode on December 5th, she overtook the host of the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’. It was for the first time in a very long time that the UFC commentator found a credible rival in the podcasting world.

However, just after a few days, Joe Rogan returned to the top again. According to Spotify’s charts in the United States, the 57-year-old reclaimed the 1st spot as Kylie Kelce dropped down to the second spot. Fortunately for her, she didn’t drop down any more than the 2nd spot, which has been her lowest standing on the chart since the inception of her podcast.

Despite the comeback to the top spot, the previous stats prove that it’s a pretty close race between Joe Rogan, who’s one of the pioneers of the game, and Kylie Kelce, who’s an absolute newbie in the podcasting world. By the looks of it, Jason Kelce’s wife has been successful in garnering an audience of her own just like Rogan and even up-and-comer podcast host-comedian, Theo Von, who had president-elect Donald Trump on his show before the longtime UFC commentator.

However, there’s a twist in this tale! Despite the growing numbers and reputation of her show, Kylie Kelce is not racing Joe Rogan on the charts, and she made it pretty clear recently.

Kylie Kelce “isn’t bothered” by Joe Rogan’s podcast

What’s your perspective on:

Is Kylie Kelce's rise a sign of changing tides in podcasting, or just a temporary blip?

Have an interesting take?

Just when we thought somebody was here to give Joe Rogan a run for his money, they didn’t seem interested in doing so. When Kylie Kelce started her show, he had her agenda clear behind it – to share any speculations, rumors, and chit-chat regarding her and her family, which, of course, includes her husband Jason Kelce. That takes precedence for Kylie because she’s not interested in competing with Joe Rogan, or anyone for that matter, on the Spotify charts.

Claiming that “she couldn’t care less” about her standing on the charts and competing with Joe Rogan, Kylie Kelce said, “I’m focused on putting out content that people like to consume,” in an interview with ‘New York Times’.If that puts us there [on the top of the charts] for a week, cool. If it puts us there for longer than that, cool. But I also don’t need to feed any conflict that’s created by it.”

Well, it hasn’t even been a month since Kylie Kelce dropped the first episode of her podcast and there’s a lot of buzz already. As we inch closer to 2025, it remains to be seen what she has in store for her viewers, and Joe Rogan, next year.
