“There’s no matchup that I can think of, that I can even say to myself, that it’s gonna do big… I just don’t see a buzz on an announcement. I can’t see a name that’s gonna make me go…” – McGregor asserted.

Helwani asked McGregor why he doubted the Ngannou vs. Fury matchup. McGregor replied, focusing on the many exciting fights in the Heavyweight division. McGregor explained:
“I just think there’s too many battle fights available for a buck. The heavyweight division is buzzing the f**k. But that’s so many fights… he’ll probably get one…”
He believed it was unlikely for Ngannou and Fury to fight each other, as there was an abundance of compelling options.
