The 36-year-old has expressed his desire to face off against Sean O’Malley and UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. However, it appears that ‘Triple C’ has had a change of heart and has set his sights on another bantamweight fighter as his next challenge.

Henry Cejudo makes himself clear to Dana White for his next fight

In a recent announcement, Dana White unveiled the exciting destinations for the upcoming UFC events. And Henry Cejudo is wasting no time in securing his spot in there. Despite his recent setback, the former champ is already looking to make his mark again.

Cejudo has his eyes set on his recent opponent Aljamain Sterling’s good friend training partner, Merab Dvalishvili, who had an involvement in

the chaotic scenes at UFC 288. Furthermore, the 36-year-old has put out a vicious statement to the UFC president expressing his desire to take on Dvalishvili next at UFC Boston.

“This sh*t is far from over! @danawhite I want @MerabDvalishvil head on a plate! #ufcboston”, wrote the 36-year-old.

His comeback may not have turned out the way he wanted, but that hasn’t dampened his ambition. Although he has received backlash for his recent performance from the UFC community, his vision remains unaffected. And it remains to be seen who his next opponent will be. But one thing is for sure – Cejudo is not one to back down from a challenge.
