Conor McGregor has dominated the world of mixed martial arts with his commendable performance inside the Octagon and his rivalries with other fighters. Without a doubt, the Irishman has helped the UFC to reach greater heights. However, with many fights to his name, the former UFC double champion’s beef with Nate Diaz stayed relevant for a lot longer than the others.
Recently, the ‘Mystic Man’ was spotted at Madison Square Garden, New York. Although the fighter seemed to be in a rush, he decided to stop and give the fans some attention. Doubtlessly, that gave rise to a conversation that revealed some lesser-known facts. Surprisingly, the Irish mixed martial artist disclosed that he wished to complete the trilogy against Diaz, after declaring he was the best opponent he ever fought.

Adam Glyn recently interviewed the ‘Mystic Mac’ outside Madison Square Garden. Glyn questioned the Irish fighter regarding the one opponent whose skills impressed him the most. He asked, “Who do you think of all your opponents, who do you think was the best one? One you’re most impressed with their skills.”
Surprisingly, McGregor couldn’t think of anyone else other than Diaz. Even though the American mixed martial artist recently insulted ‘The Notorious’, McGregor believed that he gave him the toughest competition. “Diaz was a tough guy,” replied the Dubliner.
Over and above that, the Irish fighter declared his desire to fight Diaz once again and complete the trilogy. He said, “And I look forward to completing that trilogy against Nate.” Nevertheless, the probability of the fight taking place has dropped ever since Diaz decided to venture out into other combat opportunities.
Nate Diaz dismissed Mike Tyson’s praise for ‘The Notorious’
A few days back, Diaz shared a video on Twitter that showed Mike Tyson praising the ‘Mystic Mac’ for his performance against Floyd Mayweather. Tyson commended McGregor for fighting someone like ‘Money’ for ten rounds. He believed that the feat was nothing less than victory itself.

However, Diaz was against Tyson’s claims. He referred to his first bout against McGregor, where he defeated the Irish fighter within ten minutes. He wrote, “I took him all the way out in about 8 minutes before that what does that tell you finishedDead.”
