The Australian admitted that he has always perceived Yair Rodriguez as a greater threat compared to Islam Makhachev. Praising Rodriguez’s fighting style, he remarked, “I mean, like, because of that crazy sporadic sort of look – always looking for a finish, you know what I mean, and the striking and unpredictable sort of behavior.”

This unique approach, according to Volkanovski, sets Rodriguez apart as a more menacing adversary. While acknowledging Islam Makhachev’s tough challenge, Volkanovski firmly asserted, “I’m gonna say Yair is more dangerous.”
