Despite His Aim of Toppling Jorge Masvidal as the UFC’s BMF, Dustin Poirier Plans Special Homage for Teammate Ahead of Justin Gaethje Fight at UFC 291

UFC 291 is around the corner, and MMA fans are beyond thrilled to witness the ferocious battles. The most exciting matchup on the fight card is undoubtedly the main event, where Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje will come face-to-face. We’re going to put it next to the one Jorge brought to the gym and keep the tradition alive.“

In the latter part of the conversation, Poirier also added that ‘Gamebred’ is his close friend and that he is proud of Masvidal’s achievements. ‘The Diamond’ mentioned that Masvidal is a great example to other fighters as he worked hard and became one of the superstars of the world’s biggest MMA promotion. Masvidal, who stayed in the backyard, made sure that he kept trying in the promotion to make a big name for himself. Later, people began to notice him for his exceptional fighting skills and carefree attitude. Poirier made sure he spoke highly of his dear friend before following in his footsteps for the BMF belt.

Alexander Volkanovski predicts the winner

UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski recently took to his YouTube Channel to talk about the upcoming showdown between Poirier and Gaethje. Volkanovski made a huge prediction regarding who would win the fight. According to him, the bout would be similar to their previous fight at UFC on Fox 29.
