The Swedish fighter has been posing a challenge in the welterweight division for quite some time now. ‘Borz’ also aims to capture the UFC gold in the two divisions. Moreover, the Chechen native is ready for a dream fight and has been naming it to be with Conor McGregor. However, he may have to give up on that fight, according to UFC veterans.

The UFC welterweight might not be getting the fight that he wants, owing to some reasons pointed out by the UFC legends. Furthermore, they even described the logic behind the statement even though he may be on the same path of popularity as the Irishman.

Anthony Smith and Michael Bisping speak about the problems with the potential super-fight

The UFC veterans discuss the potential super-fight between Khamzat Chimaev and Conor McGregor. Moreover, Bisping believes that this is one fight that will prove to be exciting for the fans. Furthermore, the UFC commentator said on his podcast, “Now listen, I have got nothing against. If they wanna make it, I’ll watch it. I’ll pay for it. I’ll talk about it. I’ll get excited about it. But they ain’t… They ain’t giving Khamzat Conor McGregor.”

Bisping is of the opinion that the UFC will not make this fight happen. However, he clearly stated that he doesn’t have a problem with it and does all of his duties regarding the fight.

The UFC Veterans give Khamzat Chimaev a reality check on Conor McGregor

Anthony Smith shared the real reason that the fight might not happen. The UFC light heavyweight also stated that the fight is unfair for ‘The Notorious’. ‘Lionheart’ said, “He has the ability to shrink himself down to 170 and this isn’t even a knock on Conor… It’s not a fair matchup.”

The former UFC champion further added, “Conor fought at 145. you got to remember this. It’s not a knock on Conor. There’s weight class is for a reason. You can put on a bit of weight and you can get a bit pudgy or a bit muscly and all the rest of it, but it’s not the optimum fighting weight. “
