Conor McGregor has taken over the world once again with his documentary series, ‘McGregor Forever’. The series has been released on Netflix and contains four hour-long parts, which explore the former UFC double champion’s life. The first episode began with insights on his life from the time when he was pitted against Khabib Nurmagomedov. Without a doubt, the series has sent the fans through a long circuit of excitement.

McGregor’s striking coach, Owen Roddy, was also featured in the episode. He revealed that although many fighters focus on money, ‘The Notorious’ focused on proving to himself that he was indeed the greatest fighter on Earth. Furthermore, he also disclosed the real reason why McGregor took up a fight against Nurmagomedov.

The very first episode of ‘McGregor Forever’, let the fans in for a treat about the Irish fighter’s life when his rivalry with ‘The Eagle’ began. In the episode, Roddy revealed how ‘The Notorious’ was different from most fighters. While most fighters strived for financial stability, McGregor strived to prove to himself that he was indeed the best mixed martial artist. He further revealed that McGregor had already earned a lot with his fight against Floyd Mayweather.

McGregor’s striking coach said, “Most people fight to get out of the financial burdens they’re going through. And Conor done that. You know, most people would be, like, “Right, i’ve made all my money. There’s no real need to fight again. But I think the difference with Conor is, Conor wants to prove it, more so to himself, that he’s the baddest man on the planet.”

Furthermore, Roddy talked about the reason why McGregor had to take the fight against Nurmagomedov. He said, “And then, you know, there was talk. You know what I mean? This lad Khabib is going through everybody and he’s been calling you out. The thing with Conor is, he’s not going to shy away from any fight. No matter who it is.”

The ‘Mystic Mac’ took to Twitter and announced that ‘McGregor Forever’ was finally out on Netflix. Undeniably, the post garnered a multitude of reactions from the fans.

The documentary is not the only content that will entertain MMA fans. TUF 31 is going to air by the end of May 2023. Undeniably, McGregor’s fans are in for a ride.
