It has been over two years since Conor McGregor had a fight in the UFC. After recovering from his leg injury, which he sustained at UFC 264, ‘The Notorious’ kept himself busy with his commitments outside the Octagon. As such, he now has his sights on a property that he wants to add to his portfolio.

The former UFC double champion amassed millions after the sale of his Proper 12 whisky in 2021. He then became the richest athlete in the world that year, according to Forbes. Thereafter, Conor McGregor decided to buy properties and even set up the Black Forged Inn pub in Dublin. Now, according to a latest report by the ‘Irish Independent’, ‘The Notorious’ is looking to secure a property popular tourist attraction and nightlife area, Temple Bar.

Temple Bar has seen many visits from tourists. The area has a lot of pubs, which are known for charging an extraordinary amount of money for just a pint of Guinness. However, that area has become a place of interest for Conor McGregor, who’s looking to increase his value with his property and pub empire. Moreover, the deal will be finalized in the next few weeks. But what happened to the debt that his fiancee, Dee Devlin, piled up? Let us take a look at that front.

Details on Dee Devlin accumulating millions in debt

The last financial year saw Conor McGregor’s fiancee Dee Devlin rack up $38,259,811 or €35.83 million in loans. Many people were shocked to learn about this situation since the former double champion was working in collaboration with Universal Picture at the time. Moreover, the loans had seen a significant rise, which was initially about €8 million.

However, Conor McGregor does not seem to be stressed about that development. Instead, he has plans to expand the several brands that he owns. McGregor wishes to make the Black Forged Inn the most renowned Irish Pub in the world, and it might happen eventually.
