The former UFC welterweight champion, Colby Covington hasn’t made much ruckus ever since losing his fight against the current UFC welterweight champion, Leon Edwards. However “Chaos” announced his return to the with a video he uploaded on social media where he didn’t hold back even a little in responding to the young Irish prospect, Ian Garry.
Despite Ian Machado Garry being by far one of the most disliked fighters in the UFC at the moment, “Chaos” still failed to get fight fans over to his side during his recent response video.

In typical Covington fashion, there were no likes drawn during his response video. He not only went after Garry but also his wife, whom many class fighters would frown upon. However, being that it is Covington we’re talking about, the former title challenger put up horrible stipulations for him to accept the 26-year-old’s callout. But fight fans surprisingly didn’t take the bait this time around.

One fan seems to believe that Covington has lost the respect of the former POTUS, Donald Trump and fight fans after his performance against Leon Edwards at UFC 296.
Yeah you lost all of our and Donald’s respect for you at 296 bud

Another believes that “Chaos” would’ve had a much worse performance against Geoff Neal.

One Covington fan seems to feel that Covington’s promos don’t have the same zeal after his most recent performance.
Coming from a Colby fan, after his last performance, the promos don’t hit anymore.

A comment pointed out a part in the promo where Colby Covington unintentionally roasted himself.
Are you saying you would only last 15 seconds with Ian Garry’s wife? That’s weird, bro

One fan seems to believe that Covington should retire after his performance against Edwards.
Bro Leon cooked you so bad you should honestly just retire

Another claimed that they would rather watch the Irishman go up in rankings than watch another lackluster Colby Covington fight.
Would rather see Ian Garry come through the ranks than Colby Covington violate his family & put on another snooze-fest

One seemed to enjoy his promo but believed that he doesn’t have what it takes to back his talks up.
Man if only Colby could fight as good as he can talk 😂

There seem to be quite a lot of people who seem to be judging the American after his recent loss to Edwards. But what led to Colby Covington making such a personal callout? Here’s how Ian Machado Garry called Covington out for their fight.
Ian Garry’s callout of “Chaos”
Ian Machado Garry after his win against his most dangerous opponent yet, Geoff Neal, addressed his beef with Colby Covington. He made it quite apparent that he had no respect for the former interim champion and made some pretty bold comments on their matchup.
During the post-fight press conference of UFC 298, Garry stated, “I promise you I will end that flight. I’ll finish that flight, and I’ll rid the UFC. I’ll rid the UFC of Colby Covington for once and for all. Like he needs to be gone. I’m sick of his nonsense. He’s a piece of shit…I will punch them out of him and I hope I hit him so hard. He’s never able to speak again.”
