The news of Endeavor buying WWE has spread like wildfire throughout the UFC community, and everyone is eagerly anticipating what it could mean for the future of the sport. This news recently caught Belal Muhammad‘s attention, and he is excitedly looking forward to seeing what the future holds.

Muhammad took to his Twitter to express his hopeful stance on the potential Endeavour and WWE deal.

He wrote, “Hope this become a thing” with a GIF of a WWE fighter running with a suitcase labelled as ‘Money In The Bank’. It’s clear that Muhammad sees the potential for great things to come from this deal.

On the other hand, despite missing out on his chance for a title shot, Belal Muhammad is not letting the setback get him down. Hence, for his next fight, the no. 4 Welterweight stalwart is not taking anyone who doesn’t take him ‘upwards’.

Belal Muhammad Has Sights on big fights

Belal Muhammad is not losing sight of his goal of winning the Welterweight gold anytime soon. During a recent interview with MMA Fighting, he made it clear that he’s not going to settle for fighting lower ranked fighters from here on out. “For me, now, I’m only looking upwards,” he said. “The only guys upwards are Colby, Leon, and Kamaru. Kamaru didn’t take no damage in this fight and he’s still fighting, he’s still talking about fighting — I think that’s a fight that makes sense.”

The 34-year-old knows that to achieve his goal, he needs to fight the best of the best. “The only thing I don’t have on my résumé is that name everybody recognizes, everybody knows, and that was a former champion. A guy that people consider one of the best welterweights to do it.”, he added.

Muhammad is hereby making sure that the next time is his opportunity to win the championship, despite missing out on the same this time. It appears that the ranked 4 Welterweight is striving to live up to his moniker, ‘Remember the Name’.
