UFC president Dana White has often faced a severe backlash from the MMA community for paying less to the fighters. According to the fighters, some of White’s actions go against their well-being. Now, it is UFC middleweight Philip Rowe who has come forward to open up about the unfair treatment he received from the UFC boss. Rowe is a surging middleweight whose current record stands at 10 victories and three losses. The fighter is trying hard to build his career while his mother is suffering from two forms of cancer. The UFC used his Mom’s condition for promotional benefits. However, it didn’t give the fighter any knockout bonuses as he failed to make weight. This resulted in a loss of around $50,000 that could have been used for his mother’s cancer treatment.
The fighter claims that he didn’t ask the promotion to use his mother’s health condition to promote his fight. According to the middleweight star, the UFC is showing its hypocritical nature. The promotion showed the public that they really cared about the family. However, it didn’t give a single penny as a bonus after ‘The Fresh Prince’ missed weight.

Philip Rowe talked in the pre-fight press conference for the UFC on ABC 5. During the conversation, Rowe was asked about not getting any bonuses despite winning via knockout in three consecutive fights. As a reply to the question he said, “You got to make weight of course right, it’s a part of the game but that’s very odd you know what I mean like and then I’ve knocked out three people in a row, nothing, no bonus, no nothing. You know what I mean, like my mom, is dealing with two forms of cancer. They’re plastering her on the TV screen talking about my mom, which is nothing, which I didn’t ask him [Dana White] to do.“
Talking further on the same topic, he added, “There’s no woe as me. I get it done, you know. I don’t look for nobody for nothing. I don’t look for favors but if you’re gonna put my mom on, plaster up on in the arena and talk about her and bless me, you know, show me. I went out there and stretched the guy that makes three times as much money I make.” Rowe openly talked about the unfair treatment of the UFC president, Dana White.
