Alex Pereira and his upcoming fight against Israel Adesanya have covered the entire world in a shroud of excitement. The rivalry between the two has entertained fans from kickboxing to mixed martial arts. However, there was a middleweight champion who earned the respect of every single fan. The middleweight champion from 2017, Georges St-Pierre, has claimed the honor from the fans after defeating Michael Bisping. The size difference was significant and yet, it was GSP who rose victorious. Earlier, the two fighters met and tried to break Joe Rogan’s kicking record, and then took a picture.

The picture recently found its way to Instagram. Undeniably, the fans’ eyes caught the difference in the size between the current champion and the former champion. Fans took over the comments section and talked about the difference.

UFC world recognizes the size difference between Georges St-Pierre and Alex Pereira

ESPN MMA recently shared a picture of the ‘Poatan’ and GSP together. However, the post pointed out the difference in the size of the two fighters. The caption read, “The size difference between the current middleweight champ and the 2017 middleweight champ.”

Without a doubt, the fans were quick to take to the comments section and write their thoughts. Almost every single fan agreed to have noticed the difference. However, some of the fans pointed out that St-Pierre was originally a welterweight champion who decided to for the middleweight title. Furthermore, some of the fans noticed a few other differences between the two elite fighters.

  • Skill difference between GSP and Alex is bigger than the size difference between them.

The beloved UFC commentator surprisingly has an extremely powerful kick. Rogan recorded his kicking power on a PowerKube. He had a score of 152 thousand franklins. Pereira and St-Pierre went ahead and tried to break Rogan’s record at Karate Combat 37. Unfortunately, Pereira’s kick measured only 90,987 franklins. 

Undeniably, the fighter wasn’t able to beat Rogan in the game. The fans seemingly criticized the fighter. However, the apparent motive for the meet was to have fun, which the fighters seemingly had.
