Training from a young age certainly molds children into champions. And that’s exactly what Conor McGregor has been aiming at. However, it’s Conor McGregor Jr.’s astounding fighting skills and rapid advancement that have left the entire fighting community awestruck. Earlier in February 2024, the ‘Mystic Mac’ shared his joy as his young one advanced to load the backhand, roll under the fists, and work on his combinations. But things just went to the next level with SBG awarding McGregor’s son with a third stripe on his Jiu-Jitsu white belt. 

‘The Notorious’ wasted no time in sharing his child’s feat with the fighting community. Taking to Instagram, he shared pictures of Junior wearing his new belt and posing in the SBG. The former UFC double champion captioned, “My son with another stripe on his Jiu Jitsu belt! He is so happy and it makes me incredibly proud to see his efforts! Well done my Champion! Thank you @sbgireland and coach @sbgnerijus! Let’s go @conormcgregorjr.” 

This was indeed a proud moment for the McGregor family. After all, McGregor Jr. has come just 2 steps away from getting the next belt on his waist. It also means that he’s ready to learn some fancy takedowns and submissions. Dee Devlin also wade her way to the comments section to reveal how proud she was of her son. She wrote, “So so proud!!!”

The MMA world has also joined the proud parents in showering appreciation for the young fighter. Paulo Costa commented, “Nice work kid”, while his former TUF co-coach Urijah Faber dropped a clapping emoji in the comments. Apart from the professional fighters, the fight fans also joined hands to congratulate McGregor Jr. Let’s see what the fans had to say.

With Conor McGregor continuously training his children, the netizens seemed to know that they would grow up to be pretty strong fighters. After all, they’ve seen first-hand how a champion carries himself. Hence, it wasn’t tough for the fight fans to deem Junior worthy of becoming a future champion. One of the fans wrote, “This kid is gonna be a problem in the UFC! Future CHAMP! Meanwhile, another fan added, “Looking good future champion! One more fan commented, “The little Champion.The congratulations kept on flowing and raising Junior up high. One fan commented, “Huge congratulations to Conor Jnr well done Champ Jnr. Another fan joined in and wrote, “Congratulations little man well done kid little champion.  

Needless to say, the fighting community gave some of the credit to McGregor’s own journey. Well, that must be the factor that inspired Junior to work hard in the gym. A fan wrote, “Following in his father’s footsteps , amazing. Well, it was indeed something that every father wants for his child. And the ‘Mystic Mac’ had often talked about such moments on social media. A fan reflected on this and commented, “I remember you talking about moments like this before he was even born mate , The Irish Apple doesn’t fall far 🇮🇪.

But the praise for the champ with a 3 stripe belt was never-ending. A few of the fans even dubbed him The Next Generation baby!! Another fan playfully commented, “he’s going to break hearts and arms 

With guidance from some of the best coaches and supervision by the former UFC double champion, there was no way one could fail.
