Fighting through adversity is one of the toughest things to do, moreover, if the adversity includes losing someone close to you, then it’s downright commendable. Such was the case with UFC featherweight, Andre Fili, during his appearance at UFC Vegas 60.
During Fili’s post-fight interview, he revealed that he came into the fight after suffering the loss of his unborn child. While speaking to Daniel Cormier, ‘Touchy’ got emotional and tried to hold his tears back.

He told DC, “Man, I went through so much this camp. Anybody you this fight, anybody you see in this cage is one percent of their story. It took me so much just to get here. Even though his last eight weeks, I lost so much”

Fili further added, “I lost ah..I can’t even talk about man. I lost a baby. It would have been my first kid and four weeks into this fight. I just wanna dedicate this fight to whoever they would have been, I love you so much”
Fans send their Condolences to the UFC Fighter
It devastated fans all over the world to hear of Fili’s loss. Comments sending condolences poured in from all around for the featherweight. Fans even talked about DC and how even he, unfortunately, lost his daughter.

Fans were also reminded about Joe Rogan interviewing Cody Stamann, who compared in a UFC fight just days after his brother passed away. Rogan was visibly teary during the interview.

Fili fought against Bill Algeo in a three-round stand-up battle at UFC Vegas 60. However, towards the end of the third round, Fili took Algeo’s back but failed to lock a submission. Notwithstanding the split decision victory, Fili displayed an absolute clinic on the feet, landing the majority of the significant strikes on his opponent.
