Retired UFC fighter Daniel Cormier has been doing extremely well as a commentator and analyst. However, his fellow commentator Dominick Cruz said that Cormier does not really do his homework well.
Dominick Cruz recently opened up about his experience of working with Cormier. Cruz was of the opinion that the former heavyweight champion does not do his homework or prepare to commentate fights like others. After these comments, people quickly started talking about Cormier’s commentary.

Now as UFC 269 approaches, it is even more important that Daniel Cormier does his homework. This is exactly what UFC President Dana White feels. Speaking about Cormier during the UFC 269 pre-fight press conference, White said, “Listen, everybody has their opinions and you know, I guess DC [Daniel Cormier] better do his homework man. He better come out and make Cruz happy.”
‘DC’ has received appreciation as well as criticism for his commentary work. His enthusiasm is thrilling for the audience to watch, plus his experience as a fighter enriches his commentary. But on the other hand, having detailed knowledge about the scoring system is also essential.
Jon Anik, Michael Bisping, and Joe Rogan are some of the best UFC commentators. However, Cormier’s fans love to see his reactions during blockbuster fights. His enthusiasm and perspective are extremely valuable to them.
Fans will see Anik, Rogan, and Cormier commentating at UFC 269. This seems like an amazing trio of great commentators. The event takes place on December 11 at T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas.

His background as an MMA fighter really compliments his current job as a commentator. His inside knowledge of how things work makes it really interesting to watch him. However, many have questioned his commentary in the past as well. Earlier, many felt that Cormier was biased in his commentary. Now, questions have been raised about him not doing thorough homework.
The quality of his work at UFC 269 might put an end to questions being raised about his commentary.
