‘Suga’ previously mentioned the malpractices of MMA managers many times. To address those problems, he had mentioned having something in the works. But now, he’s come out with some facts about certain managers who aim to rip off their fighters who put their lives on the line every time they step inside the Octagon. Sean O’Malley claims that there are managers to tend to take 20 percent of a fighter’s purse and even from bonuses.

“There are managers that take 20% of fighters purses AND 20% of their bonuses,” said O’Malley. Not only that, the bantamweight champion also shared some unsavory words for those managers as well. He added, “If you do this to the fighters you are a POS.”
However, this isn’t the only problem he’s had with managers. He recently took aim at Irish star Ian Garry‘s manager as well.

‘Suga’ ripped into Ian Garry’s manager

Ian Machado Garry was initially supposed to fight Geoff Neal at UFC 292. However, the latter had to pull out of the fight due to an injury. This prompted Garry’s manager, Lloyd Pierson, to claim that Neal withdrew because his “p***y hurts.” This did not sit well with some of the fighters on the UFC roster, and Sean O’Malley was vocal about his disdain for the comment.

He also hoped nothing was too serious regarding Neal’s pullout because he understands how barbaric MMA can be. “Weird for a manager to say that about [Geoff Neal]. Hope it’s nothing serious, MMA is a brutal sport,” said the bantamweight champion.
