Before the UFC 292 bout, Sterling sought Cejudo’s take on what he might expect from ‘Sugar’. When Cejudo came across the DM from Sterling, he was ready to give an honest prediction about what O’Malley would do. ‘Triple C’ replied, “He’s going to counter you or move like crazy. He doesn’t have the ability to stick to the center (strength). Stick to your gameplan push him against the cage easy money.

Later, Cejudo also asked him to make sure that he always kept a proper distance between them. He instructed Sterling that he could use any method to close the distance. The former UFC double champion also warned that the 28-year-old would be very dangerous in the first and second rounds. ‘Triple C’ also wrote, “Don’t react to his fakes. He starts his game like that. If you go away, he starts to figure out his distance.After giving advice on how to handle O’Malley, Cejudo also wished Sterling all the best.
