British MMA fighter Darren Till shared an exciting story about him sparring with the Swedish fighter Khamzat Chimaev. Apparently, it got too heated. The fighter last clashed against Derek Brunson and since then hasn’t made a return in the octagon. However, he is utilizing his time well by training hard and sparing with his friend, Chimaev, to improve.

He has made good use of his inactive time in the past year by sparring alongside Chimaev at All-Stars and Loughnane at Tiger Muay Thai. He believes that hard preparation will lead him to his desired glory.
In a recent interview with ‘DC’, he explained how he has learned to take off days without loading himself with guilt. Moreover, for earlier fights, he used to go too hard on himself and feel guilty for taking a break. He identified he needed to change a few things to get back to his best.

‘King Gorilla’ sat down with former two UFC division champion, Daniel Cormier, for an interview on his YouTube channel. They talked about how Till wanted to take pressure off his shoulders, his fight with Dricus Du Plessis, Dricus Du Plessis’ manager’s comments, and a lot more.

‘DC’ talked about how Till and Chimaev both are wild men and wanted to know how crazy their sparring sessions are. Moreover, Till recalled how before the Nate Diaz fight during the training camp, he and Chimaev had an intense sparring session. He said, “His coach was like this has gone, this is what Nate’s gonna do.“
“So we had like the little gloves on. So we were Spar and I just started doing that in his face, I was calling ‘you little fu*king b*tch’ and as I made, he clips me at one and I go back I’m thinking oh it’s on now. … I remember giving a body shot like that and he went ‘urgh’ and he gave me one back and it was like a full-out war…. “, He further added.
Till recalls one of his toughest sparring sessions with Khabib’s team
While speaking on the subject of intense sparring sessions, Till recalls the one he recently had in Thailand. Darren Till has been a huge advocate for his training sessions in Tiger Muay Thai.

He said Murad Ramazanov was one of the toughest wrestlers he has faced and gave him a hard time for his money. The session was so impressive that Till said to DC, “If you hear ‘OV’ just run away because they’re all good”.

Furthermore, he said that Ramazanov is one of Khabib’s teammates and competes in ONE Championship. While sparring, they were striking and suddenly he shot for a takedown. Darren explained how it felt as if Ramazanov was stuck on him as glue.
