Kevin Holland destroyed Jacare Souza at UFC 256 to claim his 5th UFC win of 2020. The ‘Trailblazer’ brutally TKO’ed him in Round 1. He is now in contention to be the scariest middleweights on the roster with his dominating wins from this year.
The big question coming up now is, who will Kevin Holland take on next?
At an ESPN MMA podcast, Daniel Cormier and Ariel Helwani discussed Holland’s Saturday night performance, a probable fight with Adesanya, and more.

Considering the beef between the two, Helwani asked DC whether it’d intrigue him to watch Adesanya and Holland going up against each other.
DC sponsored his thought and said, “I think Kevin Holland would fight Izzy. Let’s not get crazy, the trash talk would be fun. I mean, Israel Adesanya would talk him. I think down the line as Kevin continues to come into his own, hopefully we get to see it.”
Helwani stated that he would love to see Adesanya against Kevin Holland rather than Adesanya against Jan Blachowicz.
DC and Helwani both referred to Adesanya and Kevin Holland as good trash talkers, but the middleweight champion would drive on a slight edge over the ‘Trailblazer’ in a war of words.
The Last Stylebender and Kevin Holland engaged in a serious confrontation when Holland submitted Charlie Ontiveros at UFC Fight Night on October 31.
Adesanya marked himself present for the event to support one of his teammates, and out of the blue, Holland engaged in a spat with him.

Israel Adesanya vs Kevin Holland, will it happen in 2021?
The Last Stylebender defended his middleweight strap against Paulo Costa in September 2020. He is the most active and daunting fighter in UFC history with an undefeated record of 20-0.
Adesanya has cemented himself as the best 185-pounder and is speculated to move up in order to fight Jan Blachowicz for the Light-Heavyweight title.
On the flip side, Kevin ‘Trailblazer’ Holland was unranked in the 185-pound division before his Saturday night win. But he now grabs the 15th spot in the division.

Holland is in contention to be the UFC Fighter of the Year for his 5 wins this year. His intimidating frame and overall exhibition of skill make him a dazzling fighter to look at.
However, even though the duo shares some bad blood, a fight in 2021 just doesn’t seem to be on the cards. The ‘Trailblazer’ might have to put on another 5 wins in a row to get his hands on the middleweight kingpin.
