Joanna Jędrzejczyk will return to UFC action this weekend after a long hiatus of over two years. She will take on Zhang Weili in the co-main event of the upcoming event of UFC 275, in a strawweight bout.
In a recent interview, UFC analyst and color commentator Daniel Cormier weighed in on their upcoming bout. He spoke about how Joanna Jędrzejczyk has been away from fighting for so long, and her return could be a fundamental change for her career. DC also spoke about the previous bout they had back in 2020, and how the two match up stylistically.

He said, “who is Joanna Jędrzejczyk today as opposed to who she was a couple of years ago? You know you don’t know. She is so successful in business. She’s so successful in life. Coming back into this life (of fighting) that she kind of walked away from for a little bit, could present some challenges.”
“Do I believe that they will? No. I think it’s going to be a fantastic fight. But I mean, I have to give you all the information. I can’t just give you some of it. So going to be fun, but that’s temporary expectations a little bit right very rarely does a sequel live up to the original and we’ve seen that on numerous occasions in movies and fighting and in movies,” added DC.

When he was asked an example for the same, he said, Jurassic Park 2 and dubbed it as the ‘worst sequel of all time.’
