Rumors are swirling in the mixed martial arts community that heavyweight superstar Francis Ngannou may soon be joining the ranks of the Professional Fighters League (PFL). The rising organization might as well have captured the former UFC heavyweight signing after capturing Jake Paul. Hence, his addition would be a massive upgrade to the PFL’s already impressive roster of talent.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, a UFC legend has shed some light on the announcement. He listed down some problems that ‘The Predator’ comes along with that UFC President Dana White already has with Jon Jones.

Chael Sonnen revealed the problems MMA promotions have with Francis Ngannou
Sonnen noted that when an organization finally makes an announcement about a fighter such as Francis Ngannou’s next opponent, they are often met with excitement and anticipation from fans. However, this excitement is often followed by disappointment when the organization announces the opponent.
The UFC legend added, “Everybody has that problem. Chakra wasn’t sure how he was gonna solve it. Coker didn’t know how to solve it but he did know he wasn’t gonna do. He wasn’t gonna put Bader in there with him”.
The former UFC middleweight also noted that organizations have to be careful about who they match their starfighters up against. They want to make sure that the fight is competitive and entertaining.
Dana White may have a similar issue with Jon Jones
The UFC legend added that the White may have the “same issue” with his heavyweight champion. Sonnen said, “Dana ‘s got the same issue. Dana’s got one guy for him to fight. That’s Jon Jones and he’s crazy”.
