Jared Gordon has lost 2 of his last 3 fights. Although a lot of fans and experts thought that Gordon should have gotten his hands raised after the Paddy Pimblett fight at UFC 282, Gordon lost by a 29-28 score decision from the Judges. Gordon was recently featured on Michael Bisping’s Podcast “Believe You Me” where he discussed the fight and the moments after it. He explained why he felt the controversial decision of the fight was one of the worst in UFC history. ‘Flash’ also reflected on UFC President Dana White’s advice.

Michael Bisping and Anthony Smith were hosting Lightweight fighter Jared Gordon on their YouTube channel, which has over 190k subscribers. While the Trio talked a lot about ‘Flash’ Gordon’s early life, Co-host Anthony Smith asked him questions about his feeling after the loss.
Gordon said he was still “salty” and “bitter“. He also mentioned he needed some time to look at the “Silver lining” Dana White showed him.

Jared Gordon put up a great fight at UFC 282. He was clearly dominating Pimblett with his accurate striking during the initial rounds. He, however, faced a lot of heat for his performance in the third round, where he didn’t exactly mount the pressure on the ‘Liverpudlian’ fighter. The UFC president mentioned the third round of the fight in his post-fight media interaction and heavily criticized Gordon. It is very surprising that the third round was the only round where Judges deemed Gordon to have an edge over Pimblett.
Talking about his interaction with Dana White after the fight Gordon Said, ” I spoke to Dane after and he was like look you literally came out with the best you know coming off of a loss this is the best circumstance for you that could have ever happened and I think he’s he’s right I have you know it’s only been four days so I I have yet to see the Silver Lining.

Gordon disclosed about his early life and struggles with drugs
The discussion between the three also revolved a lot around the early life struggles of the English fighter. He revealed how he once spent time at a homeless shelter/treatment center in Queens for his drug habits. He also mentioned how the treatment center that was in a bad shape was still a blessing for him as he had spent worse nights in jail and out on the street feeling cold.
As suggested by a lot of experts, The UFC 282 fight between Gordon and Pimblett did end in a controversial decision but ‘Flash’ will move on. The NSAC has also taken some stern steps after public complaints about the standard of judging at UFC 282. Gordon seemed in a good mental state and, given his past setbacks at this level, the result should not bother him much.
