During a podcast, Brecka reflected on the severity of White’s condition, expressing surprise that White could even sleep through the night given how such a condition can drain the human body to the point where people struggle with simple tasks like tying their shoes. He said,  “His red blood cell count and hemoglobin levels were so low, ‘I’m surprised he could even sleep through the night. I’d wake up in the middle of the night, losing my voice. This level of claudication and triglycerides in the bloodstream, I’m surprised you even bend down and tie your shoes.'”

How did Dana White recover from sleep apnea?

The UFC CEO did everything a reasonable person would do to overcome sleep apnea. He consulted numerous doctors, including one in Los Angeles who suggested a frightening procedure. The doctor recommended cutting through his throat to widen it, which horrified him and led him to abandon the plan. Dana White, having contacted Dr. Lieurance through FaceTime, decided to meet him in person to begin his therapy, which involved no surgery or invasive methods. Dr. Lieurance described the incident, noting, “ He literally took his private jet, showed up at the front door, and we performed a treatment called Functional Cranial Release, which uses endonasal balloon manipulation. This method applies expansive pressure to open the nasal passages and sinuses. more importantly, it restores a movement pattern known as cranial rhythm. We all have and benefit from this flexibility in our cranium.”

With the combined efforts of doctors and Dana White’s willpower, they successfully treated him, leading to significant changes. His sleep cycle improved, which contributed to weight loss and made him appear much younger, reminiscent of his former self. What are your thoughts on Dana White’s condition and treatment?
