The MMA world was on the verge of witnessing the most unconventional bout of all time: Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk. While the idea seemed far-fetched, it gained substantial traction as both billionaires openly discussed the prospect of fighting. Further, both Musk and Zuckerberg engaged in MMA training with big names. Taking one step ahead, the ‘X’ owner had also publicly stated about finalizing a venue for this fight – a Colosseum in Rome!
Adding a unique twist, Musk humorously mentioned his intention to invade Zuckerberg’s home when the latter was away. Moreover, UFC President Dana White was also heavily involved in this fight. However, much like a fleeting dream, the hype has dwindled. Zuckerberg, in a candid admission, revealed that Musk might not actually be enthusiastic about stepping into the cage. Recently, Zuckerberg’s coach Khai Wu shared his perspective on the same.

Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk canceled?
Recently, Wu appeared in a candid interview with Mirror. There, he affirmed that he didn’t believe Elon Musk was truly invested in making the fight happen. “I don’t think Elon wants it, and that’s all I can say,” he said. Further, the coach also hinted at Zuckerberg fighting someone else, as he is passionate about MMA.

“I wouldn’t be surprised (if Zuckerberg fights someone else), Mark is extremely competitive and extremely gifted in his athletic ventures,” the coach said. “He did a jiu-jitsu tournament and won it which was awesome. So I wouldn’t be surprised, he trains really hard all the time and I wouldn’t be surprised if he wanted to challenge himself,” he added.

In a lighter tone, Wu also admitted that the exchanges between Musk and Zuckerberg were fun, but won’t lead to an MMA faceoff. “So realistically, it was fun, but all that other stuff that came after it was just fluff”. While the hype around a Zuckerberg vs. Musk MMA fight was undoubtedly intriguing, it appears that the stars might not align, and Khai Wu seems to know the reason behind it.

Khai Wu reveals the reason why Elon Musk doesn’t want to fight
Wu’s opinion was grounded in the belief that Musk’s history of fitness and health wasn’t as robust, making a contest against Zuckerberg, who has shown prowess in athletic ventures, a risk for Musk’s well-being.

“Elon just had his 52nd birthday and if you look at his history he hasn’t been the healthiest in terms of being in shape. Taking on a fight against someone like Mark? I’m not sure that’s good for your health,” he said. “I think that’s why he didn’t want to take it because realistically it’s not good,” the MMA coach added.
