Jed I. Goodman who is known for Do Not Disturb (2009), The Overnight (2010), and The 7 of Clubs (2012), shared important news. He recently came on to X to share some stats that you might want to see because this changes a lot of things for UFC. He wrote, “TKO currently up +9.29% during overnight hours,” after sharing a picture that said, “TKO Group Holdings,$129.94,+$11.05 (+9.29%) Overnight. 24 Hour Market.” Now for the unversed, TKO is the parent company of UFC and it was formed in 2023 when the Endeavour Group Holdings merged with Zuffa, and both WWE and UFC are now divisions of TKO.
On top of that, Donald Trump is close to UFC CEO Dana White, so this surge in the revenue of the parent company while Dana White’s friend wins the election is not a surprise as many might assume. White is such an admirer of Trump that he spoke to Variety, about the former ex-POTUS in the light of a friend going back to 2001.

This is the same year when Trump agreed to host UFC 30 at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. So White is not the only reason for UFC’s success it seems. Interestingly, after Trump’s victory in the 2024 elections, Dana White was beside him for the victory celebration and speech as his campaigning bore results for his friend. Even Joe Rogan reacted to the historic moment and addressed it on X saying, “WHOLE. LEE. S–T!” That is not all because the 47th president of the United States appreciated Dana White’s promotion and tenacity. Previously too, Trump spoke good things about White when he came to Joe Rogan’s podcast days before the elections happened.

Donald Trump and his love for Dana White
When Trump appeared in the much-awaited episode #2219 of the Joe Rogan Experience, he pointed out that the UFC boss was a man of fineness. Trump said that White was indispensable and could not be replaced because of his genius business mentality. He said, “Dana White truly, I don’t think, you know, the things he sold for $4 billion. I said, ‘What the hell! Who the hell is gonna pay $4 billion?’ And they made a great deal! I mean, because of him. Take him out, I think it’s a whole different world…”
Joe Rogan agreed to this and supported Dana White while speaking about how he admired the boss’s decisions for UFC. He even spoke about the promotions, and present skyrocketing value, and said, “It’s been a lot more than that now!” Meanwhile, after Trump’s win in the 2024 elections, White was called to speak about his friend in the victory ceremony. The UFC CEO was honored to speak on his friend’s victory and declared that people chose the right person this time.

He said that no one else deserved the position of being a President more than Trump and commended the latter’s resilience. White further added, “He keeps pushing forward, never quits, and is the most resilient, hardworking man I have ever met. His family is incredible, too. This, ladies and gentlemen, is karma. They deserve all of it, as a family.”
This friendship has benefitted both parties and came in handy because today, after Trump’s win, TKO’s shares just soared higher. What do you think about this correlation between the President of the USA and the CEO of UFC?
