Dana White is health conscious, and it shows. The UFC CEO has taken to Instagram to share a highly informative video about fasting. In fact, he went on a rather fascinating fasting routine, determined to attain incredible physical transformation.
Feeling like a “superhero” is something not everyone gets to experience. However, for Dana White, it was the one emotion he enjoyed after fasting for 86 hours straight. “I love sharing this kind of stuff with you,” said White as he opened up the video. According to him, Gary Brecka, his expert friend at 10x Health Systems told him that consuming water for about 72 hours helps with the whole ordeal. In fact, White expressed certainty that it helps reduce the chances of contracting cancer by 70%.
“So when I left the event on Saturday night, I started fasting,” White noted while mentioning UFC 295. He then showed a picture of him taken on Saturday night and compared it to a much more ripped picture of him a few days later. “I don’t know if you’ve seen this online but it’s called the seven-day water fast. Doctors have done studies on this. And this thing is legit, it gives you an over seventy percent of not getting cancer, alzheimers, and other nasty diseases.”
However, White didn’t put the reel out without a disclaimer, “Do your own research and talk to your own medical professionals but, I absolutely recommend it.”
White also mentioned that people attempting the fast could add some sort of electrolytes to their water. For the first 24 hours, all one must drink is water. For the next two days, White recommended consuming a “Gary Brecka approved” Bone Broth that has about 45 calories and 13 grams of protein. With that, White ensured that his body stayed in the best shape.

A while ago, White got the shock of his life when he met biologist Gary Brecka. After Brecka conducted some tests with White, the two discovered that the UFC boss was in grave danger. The level of triglycerides was a level even beyond cataclysmic. In fact, Brecka informed White that he only had about 10.4 years to live which served as a reality check on the UFC CEO.
“Triglycerides are a measure of blood fat and shouldn’t be over 149 – two or three hundred is a ‘cataclysmic level,’” Brecka explained once, “but his was 768.” Once White found out about his issues, he made quick changes.
