During a recent conversation with Kevin Iole, Dana White revealed what he has planned for Ian Garry after the Geoff Neal fight. If the Irish star can emerge victorious, the UFC CEO believes he could rise in the ranks. Nevertheless, White still feels that Neal would be a difficult opponent for Garry. He said, “This is a tough fight for him [Garry]… This fight here pumps him up. If he can beat Geoff Neal, [he’ll] probably be ranked number seven after this fight. Then, he’s on his way.”

Furthermore, Dana White has promised to give Ian Garry the chance to fight top contenders like Shavkat Rakhmonov and Colby Covington, to name a few, if he continues his winning streak this weekend. “Then you’re looking at [Garry fighting] the Sean Bradys, the Colby Covingtons, the Gilbert Burns, and Shavkat and you know, you’re gonna be fighting some serious fights coming into the end of 24′ if he wins on Saturday night,” White added. The 54-year-old promoter gave Garry some valuable pieces of advice as well. Let’s see what that’s all about.

However, Dana White advised Garry to focus on the task at hand and his UFC career. Given that the CEO has promised to give him fights against top contenders, he suggested that ‘The Future’ start getting serious about the inside-the-Octagon business.

Now, it remains to be seen how Ian Garry handles his business at UFC 298, as he has a chance to become a top welterweight contender as well.
