During the press conference for Dana White’s Contender Series season 8 week 5, a reporter asked the UFC head honcho about the experience the audience would receive while witnessing the fights at Noche UFC. Without wasting a single moment, White asked the fight fans to put their phones away during the event. But his aim was at the prestigious awards in the cinematic universe.
With the help of Carlos Lopez Estrada, White has planned to let the audience have a phenomenal experience with short films. And White’s goals also reflected at getting a similar recognition with a documentary. In his reply, he stated, “So my goal in this thing is to be nominated for an Oscar, an Emmy, and a Grammy. So, yes. There will be a documentary. Yep.”
Estrada is indeed a phenomenal filmmaker and musician who was nominated for an Oscar in 2022. It was all because of his exceptional work in the Disney animated film ‘Raya and the Last Dragon’. He also received a nomination for Best Animated Feature at the 94th Academy Awards. Needless to say, with Estrada’s expertise and experience as a celebrated director, White’s wish might just come true.
