Fixing, like all sports, has probably dug its burrow into the UFC. The UFC, however, has taken a firm stance. The message from the organization is loud and clear. Fighters are not allowed to bet anymore. President Dana White has voiced his thoughts about the ongoing investigation into alleged fixing in UFC Vegas 64. In the post-fight press conference, Dana White cleared his stance on the repercussions of fixing integrity issues around the organization. White was asked about updates on the James Krause Investigation. White came with a stern response.

Replying to questions about the investigation, Dana White said that he had no information to share, as the investigation was still going on. The reporter further prodded, asking if the investigation has raised questions about the integrity of the organization and brought out the repercussions of fixing out in the light.

He said, “zero, I am not worried about it at all. People ask me well, what’s the UFC gonna do? We let these guys know not to bet on fights. Do you know what the outcome of this is? If I penalize them, you get cut. They are gonna go to fu****g federal prison, federal fu****g prison.”

Dana White feels fixing is a stupid way to ruin your life

Dana White looked absolutely intolerant of fixing. The actions that the UFC has taken in the case by releasing Darrick Minner as he was being coached by James Krause have displayed seriousness.

Dana White’s statements had the same sincerity. White said, “If you are that f*cking stupid and anyone else wants to do it. Knock yourself out. There is not enough money in it to ruin your life, and not go to jail, go to federal prison.”

James Krause is under scanner for fixing

Darrick Minner’s Coach James Krause is under scanner for his involvement in the UFC Vegas 64 fixing investigation. Several sports books (and Las Vegas firm U.S. Integrity) found suspicious wagering on a featherweight bout between Darrick Minner and Shayilan Nuerdanbieke.
